Environment Protection and management

HADS stands for a green and clean environment. Thus, preserving and protecting the environment is one of the important areas of focus for HADS and in this thematic area we mainly implement programmes that aim at creating awareness and training the people in the following areas:

• Backyard Vegetable Planting
• Waste Management.
• Tree planting / well planned and targeted a forestation
• Promotion of the use of Energy saving stoves other than Charcoal and firewood.
• Making of charcoal brickets out of corn waste both for domestic use and as income generation
